Call for Reviewers

 

The Journal of South Asian Exchanges (JSAE) invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to join our dynamic community of peer reviewers. This is completely a voluntary service. As an interdisciplinary, open-access journal committed to fostering critical dialogue across South Asia and its diasporas, we seek reviewers who can offer thoughtful, rigorous, and constructive feedback on submissions spanning the humanities, social sciences, and cultural studies. Journal of South Asian Exchanges covers a wide range of subjects related to South Asia, such as but not limited to:

  • Sustainable Development Goals
  • Politics and Governance
  • Economics and Development
  • Trade Relationship
  • Culture and Society
  • History and Heritage
  • Religion and Spirituality
  • Literature and Arts
  • Environment and Sustainability
  • Security and Cooperation
  • Diaspora and Migration
  • Education and Health

Requirements

  • Academic Qualifications: A PhD or equivalent expertise in disciplines related to the areas covered by the journal.
  • Scholarly Experience: A record of peer-reviewed publications is preferred. Early-career scholars with strong research credentials are encouraged to apply.
  • Review Commitments: The reviewers should to complete reviews within 4–6 weeks of assignment with a detailed, constructive, and respectful feedback.
  • Ethical Standards: The reviewers should have adherence to confidentiality and impartiality, disclose any conflicts of interest, and show commitment to academic integrity and the journal’s open-access mission.
