Aims
The Journal of South Asian Exchanges aims to foster dialogue and exchange of ideas among scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students who are interested in the studies of the emerging research areas of South Asia. The journal seeks to promote the critical perspectives of the social, economic, and cultural domains of South Asian countries. It has also the basic objective of promoting and globalizing the anthropocentric activities of the South Asian nations. The journal is also committed to itself to empowering the (g)local South Asian regions to challenge the privileging neo-colonial forces of the present era. It also aims to cultivate new clusters of regional expertise and specific, newly intersecting forms of interdisciplinary scholarship.
Scope and Focus
The Journal of South Asian Exchanges welcomes research findings and insights on various aspects of “South Asian Studies” in selected focus areas, which are determined periodically by the Editorial Board. The journal publishes standard articles and book reviews in the following areas. Authors and readers should note that these areas of discussion require us to transcend the artificial disciplinary boundaries that were set in the previous century and embrace a broader perspective.
